Happy 2024 from Bun and Ella and Luna
A quick hello from friends at our house
Bun has finalized her shedding and is once again resplendent and glorious.
Ella appears to be contemplating life’s great mysteries in this photo. Out of camera range is a sumptuous treat. I guess it is a great mystery to any dog why their human would delay in handing over a delicacy.
We did some dog sitting over the weekend and got to know Luna, likely the calmest dog on the planet. Once seated on my lap, she helped me to relax into a state of tranquility. She could easily lead training in meditation.
In closing, I am sharing a beautiful passage by Miller Williams. Dear friends and readers of the blog Sheila and Scott included this in their holiday greeting to Chris and me.
Compassion
Have compassion for everyone you meet, even if they don’t want it. What seems conceit, bad manners, or cynicism is always a sign of things no ears have heard, no eyes have seen. You do not know what wars are going on down there where the spirit meets the bone.
