On Sunday, July 9, I was working on an article about detours, specifically with my melanoma treatment, when I was interrupted with a quickly developing skin infection on my right leg.
Jeez, yours is a grim saga, yet you write so objectively and dispassionately. That pain sounds grueling. You can probably pass a few medical specialty exams when you beat this disease, considering all you’re learning. I’m so sorry for this new complication, Leah. Your yard looks fine, and I look forward to seeing you back out there. You have my great admiration and compassion.
OK that’s it. You’ve been put through the ringer enough. I demand to all the gods out there in the world that you and Chris get a break. Period. And, that picture of you is beautiful. You’re so photogenic. So pretty. Hang in there babe.
Battle after battle. I hope you heal and get back home soon enough, my dear friend. Also, I used to be obsessed with this brand of perfumes...you put it back on my radar!
Not that it's any sort of solace, but you look fantastic for someone handling so much. Sending all the good vibes and hoping you're home and feeling better soon! Don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything I can do for you.
Odd to me now that in my previous life I believed I couldn’t spare time and energy to care for and love myself. With this extreme loss of control, it’s the one thing I can and need to do. Usually starts with hair 😍
I'm so truly sorry for all that you're going through. (When the medical conditions pile on each other, you begin to feel like a "professional" patient. I'm speaking from experience here.) Praying for you and Chris. Your writing inspires me, thank you and God bless you!
Thinking of you dear one.

Sending all my well wishes Leah! Your writing frames this difficult path in the most prolific and heartfelt way.

It's good to see your face! Sorry about the pseudomonas :(
